Intellectual Property Protection Policy

At WESTGATE CATERING LIMITED (Whuze), we are deeply committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of creators, artists, and companies. We take all claims of infringement seriously and are dedicated to addressing your concerns quickly and fairly.

This policy explains the formal process for reporting alleged copyright, trademark, or design infringement on our website, whuze.com, and what to do if your content was removed by mistake.

1. REPORTING COPYRIGHT OR TRADEMARK INFRINGEMENT

If you are the owner of intellectual property rights, or an agent authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder, and you believe that content on our site infringes upon your rights, please submit a formal and complete complaint.

Required Information for a Valid Claim:

  • Physical address:
  • A detailed description of the copyrighted or trademarked work you believe has been infringed, including registration numbers if applicable.
  • The exact URL(s) on whuze.com where the allegedly infringing material appears.
  • A statement of good faith belief:
“I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law.”
  • A statement under penalty of perjury:
“I declare under penalty of perjury that the information in this complaint is accurate and that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the intellectual property rights involved.”
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Please send your completed claim to:
Email: support@whuze.com

We will acknowledge your complaint and begin a review within 5 business days.

2. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU FILE A COMPLAINT?

Upon receiving a complete and valid notice that meets all the requirements above:

  • We will temporarily disable or remove the allegedly infringing content from our website while we conduct a review.
  • We may attempt to contact the uploader or designer of the content to inform them of the claim.
  • If the claim is verified, the content will remain removed permanently.
  • If the claim is found to be invalid or incomplete, we will notify you and may request additional information.

3. SUBMITTING A COUNTER-NOTICE (DMCA)

If you are a content uploader and believe your content was wrongly removed due to a false or mistaken claim, you have the right to submit a counter-notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your full name and contact information.
  • Identification of the material that was removed, including its URL.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was wrongly taken down.
  • Consent to the jurisdiction of a U.S. federal court.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

We will forward your counter-notice to the original complainant. If they do not file a legal action within 14 business days, the content may be restored.

4. MISUSE OF THE IP CLAIM PROCESS

Filing false or fraudulent claims is a serious violation of the law. Pursuant to Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that content is infringing may be held liable for damages, including legal fees and costs. We take abuse of the claim process as seriously as infringement itself. Please ensure all claims are truthful and supported by valid legal rights.

5. REPEAT INFRINGER POLICY

WESTGATE CATERING LIMITED (Whuze) has a zero-tolerance policy for users who repeatedly submit or upload infringing content. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are found to have violated intellectual property laws or our platform rules.
